SAFERA is a small private family foundation founded by Sakina and Fakhruddin Suterwalla. Mr Fakhruddin is the Chairman of the TRS Group of Companies established in 1959.

TRS specialises in sourcing and distributing the finest ethnic food products from around the world. SAFERA is a combination of the names of Mr Fakruddin’s children SAlim, FEmida and RAzia who are trustees of the foundation together with their parents.

The foundation supports a variety of charitable causes working to alleviate poverty, assist in crisis regions and improve living standards.
