After the successful launch of the Spoken Word and Open Mic: Exploring Identity Series last year at SOAS University, we hosted a second event in this series at the university to provide a platform to British Pakistani creatives and community members to explore and openly discuss the ever-evolving notion of identity in a non-judgemental environment. The following artists performed followed by an open mic session for audience members. This was followed by a Q&A session with the artists moderated by Afiyah Alam to discuss identity both on a micro and macro-level.
