BPF partnered with UP-SIGN (UK-Pakistan Science and Innovation Global Network) to launch the BPF “Academic Forum” at a seminar and networking event entitled “Pakistan’s Global Challenges” at University College London (UCL) on Tuesday 31st July from 10:00am to 4:00pm for the purpose of attracting collaboration opportunities between the academia in the UK and Pakistan with a particular emphasis on meeting the United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs)

  • Baroness Sheehan (Liberal Democrat Life Peer, House of Lords)
  • Professor Jawwad Darr (Professor of Materials Chemistry at University College London and Founder UP-SIGN)
  • Dr Tariq Banuri(Chairman, Higher Education Commission of Pakistan)
  • Dr Tina Barsby (CEO, NIAB)
  • Dr Farid Panjwani(Director, Centre for Research and Evaluation in Muslim Education at the Institute of Education, University of London)
  • Dr Maryam Rab (Director, Research, Evalution and Monitoring Unit at the British Council, Pakistan)
  • Zahra Shah (CEO, British Pakistan Foundation)
  • Professor Nicola Lowe (Professor of Nutritional Sciences at University of Central Lancashire and Co-Director of the International Institute of Nutritional Sciences and Food Safety Studies)
