British Asian Trust – If I Can She Can
Millions of Pakistanis are affected by poverty. With women disproportionately impacted.
The British Asian Trust, with the support of the British public and the UK government, set out to help thousands of young women, like Agnes, from marginalised communities. Equipping them with knowledge and skills to help break the cycle of poverty.
Agnes’s journey to independence, and others like her, was made possible due to the British Asian Trust’s three-year Driving Women’s Economic Empowerment programme supported by the Foreign, Commonwealth & Development Office’s UK Aid Match fund.
