Under the BPF Young Professionals Programme and together with the Open Network, we partnered with and co-sponsored the Imperial College Pakistan Society Debate: “This house believes that Malala Yousufzai deserves to win the Nobel Peace Prize” to raise awareness about the importance of the education of girls and women. The topic was heavily argued for and against by both sides of our panel. Each side presented valid arguments on whether they believed that Malala should or should not have been presented with the Nobel Peace Prize at great length and depth.
