British Pakistanis are ambassadors of Pakistan and an integral part of the close relations between the countries. They are talented and rich in ideas and have contributed greatly to life in the UK. Earlier, there had not been a representative body that could serve to increase contacts among the members of the community, but BPF is doing the needful.

As an artist, I feel that a forum to bring people of different talents and strengths together is a real asset to the community. The British Pakistan Foundation provides a unique arena to unite entrepreneurs, artists, creatives and other individuals of all ages to promote and encourage the exchange of ideas, and helps the development of Pakistan with its own special flair. I’m pleased we have an organization like BPF as it’s community-driven and is dedicated to working towards the empowerment and development of British Pakistanis

I am delighted to be asked to help with the BPF, who can have an important role in guiding and inspiring the next generation of British Pakistanis, to further making valuable contributions in all aspects of UK life.

British Pakistanis have made a massive contribution to this country but the next generation are facing a very different set of challenges than those who went before. Organizations like BPF have a critical role in encouraging and supporting young people build on the existing successes of the community and also reaching out to those who risk being left behind. I am happy to support them in those ambitions.
