Lord Tariq Ahmad of Wimbledon will be giving a special talk for the British Pakistan Foundation, sharing his recipes for success as well as answering any questions you may have! You’ll also have an opportunity to network with a number of talented professionals from a wide variety of sectors.

Speaker Bio:

Lord Ahmad was appointed as the Prime Minister’s Special Representative on Preventing Sexual Violence in Conflict and as Minister of State for the Commonwealth and the United Nations on 13 June 2017. In July 2018 he was also appointed as the Prime Minister’s Special Envoy on Freedom of Religion and Belief.

Lord Ahmad has also had a 20-year career in the City working in banking and finance, including at the NatWest Group where he was a senior manager in corporate banking and financial markets. He was later Vice-President and Marketing Director of Alliance Bernstein and his last role before joining the government was as Strategy and Marketing Director at Sucden Financial.


This event will take place at Lansdowne Club, 9 Fitzmaurice Place, London W1J 5JD on 31st of January 2019 from 6.30pm to 8.30pm.
