Shahzad Younas (CEO & Founder)
Shahzad Younas (London, UK) is the founder and CEO of muzmatch. Formerly a Vice President in Equity Portfolio Trading at investment bank Morgan Stanley for 9 years, Shahzad left to fully focus on building a high quality mobile app to help Muslims around the world to find their perfect marriage partner.
Muzmatch, backed by Y Combinator S17, featured on the BBC home page and TechCrunch.

Suman Hanif (Filmmaker)
Suman Hanif an award-winning filmmaker from Bradford. She holds a first-class honour degree in film. Her work is dedicated to exploring social, cultural and environmental matters in the society with the intention to empower people and help contribute to society’s benefit.
Suman’s debut film ‘Plates’ was screened at the Busan international film festival and became a great success. Followed by another thought-provoking documentary film ‘Loneliness and Isolation’ This film was screened at the 2018 Golden Film festival in Bradford.
Suman was honoured the highly commended recognition By British Muslim awards this year for her work in the British film industry. Suman featured on ITV news as a creative champion after her contribution in the successful #4sparks bid to attract Channel4 to Leeds City Region. Followed by, a special feature of her work on BBC News.
Suman is on the board of Screen Industries Diversity Programme as Vice Chair & Diversity Ambassador programmed by Channel4, Bradford Council and Screen Yorkshire to address the under-representation in the Screen Industries’ Sector. This year, Suman is on the judging panel for the UK Asian film festival and Royal Television Society Awards. Suman is currently re-establishing and re-developing the Bradford International Film festival which has been running for more than 21 years.
Dr Shahid Latif (Consultant Psychiatrist/Clinical Director)
Dr Shahid Latif is an Inspirational Clinical Leader, Motivational Speaker and Champion of Mental health Service provision and Community Initiatives.
Dr Latif has always been a hardworking, dynamic and active member of Northamptonshire Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust. He works in both roles as a General Adult Psychiatry and Clinical Director, for Adult services and Forensic services.
He has worked tirelessly for the BAME groups for more than 10 years and has completed qualitative research projects for the minority groups particularly the Muslim population where he has worked on the overlap between cultural beliefs and mental health problems.
He was awarded at the Clinical excellence awards in 2012 and again in 2017.
He was also successful in attaining a Fellowship of the Royal College of Psychiatrists in 2017.
